It's a Bank Holiday, the sun is shining (we hope)… so what are you going to do?
On 29 May the ChYP's team are inviting the Diocese to come on a walk - to enjoy good company, stunning scenery, and engage in some prayerful thinking as you wander around the Kentryside (see what we did there?) on our carefully marked, suitable for everyone walk.
The walk begins at Reculver Church, and has two routes depending on walking ability:
- Across the cliffs, watching the sand martins, dropping into the wildlife information centre to the amazing towers and Roman remains, possibly via the play area and cafe (ok, it’s an ice cream shop)
- A circular walk (including the delights of option 1) but also takes you inland through woods, across fields and railway tracks and past a stunning windmill.
There will be tea, coffee, squash and cakes at the church, and as you walk along there will be some prayer activities that everyone can join in with. It's child and dog friendly. There’s no official start or finish time (it is a Bank Holiday after all), but we will be there from 11am-3pm – and we'd love to see you there too!
Parking is 兔子先生 at Reculver C of E School.
